China's ambition to transform the country into a first-class football nation that will contribute significantly to the international football world in the future, offers growth opportunities not only for Asian but also for foreign football clubs. FC Bayern Munich - one of the most famous football clubs in the world - officially opened an office in Shanghai to be present with its own office in Mainland China as the first non-Chinese Soccer Club. UniCredit, the exclusive banking partner of FC Bayern Munich since 2003, already accompanied the Club's internationalisation abroad with the office opening in New York two years ago and now also in China.

UniCredit is also accompanying FC Bayern on their Audi Summer Tour to China and Singapore in July 2017 with numerous events for our corporate clients in Asia as well as media coverage in Germany and China. For the first time UniCredit published a Chinese advertisement in the Shanghai Morning Post to congratulate FC Bayern to their appearance in the Chinese market.

Board Member of FC Bayern for Internationalisation and Strategy

FC Bayern works with the best. This concerns the players as well as the partners outside the playing field. Therefore, we are convinced that with UniCredit we have a strong partner, who accompanies our internationalisation strategy - in the US as well as in Asia.
